That’s how he rolls

As promised, here is more information about our 100% grassroots effort to raise money for Jaime’s wheelchair van. If you want to cut to the chase, you can go right to his blog ( or his facebook page, (, or you can read on!

The very bare-bones, basic beginning of our campaign has begun with the publication of his blog and facebook page and our very first (prizeless) contest – the Super-Awesome Logo Contest. The purpose, other than the obvious need for a ‘brand’, is to start raising awareness of CP. In the world of marketing, one does not simply create a logo. Designers usually do a little research on the subject matter before they choose a direction for the images. So, by inviting people to participate in a logo contest, we are pointing them towards a little research into the world of Cerebral Palsy, as well as the world of Jaime.

And this is where we are currently…I know it doesn’t sound like much, but if you knew all of the ideas flying around my head and written in various scattered notebooks, you would find this quest quite ambitious. But ambitious it must be if we want to raise enough money for a seriously tricked out vehicle. I’m not promoting or sharing or sneak-peaking any of the ideas, because I don’t know what will and will not work until I get there. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

But I will say that our modus operandi behind all of our activities and events will be to entertain. Everyone wants a return on their investment, and for our supporters it will be in the form of something other than the often vulgar displays we call entertainment these days.
